About Me

I am working as a Postdoctoral fellow in Robert Bosch Centre for Data Science and Artificial Intelligence, Chennai under the supervision of Prof B. Ravindran. I have pursued PhD in Computer Science from Indian Institute of Technology Jodhpur, India, under the supevision of Dr Chiranjoy Chattopadhyay and Dr Gaurav Bhatnagar. My research interests are Computer vision, Natural language processing, Deployble AI, and their applications. I am also working with Dr. Mitesh Khapra for AI4Bharat in Indic NLP project.

Postdoctoral Fellow • December 2020 - Present

I am working as a Postdoctoral fellow at RBCDSAI. My primary research area is Computer vision with applications in Natural language processing and adversarial evaluation. I am working under the supervision of Prof B. Ravindran.

HP R&D center, Bangalore

Research Intern • May 2020- November 2020

I worked towards building AI models for part failure prediction in HP printers, using text and time series data, which involves use of several NLP and machine learning algorithms for feature engineering and prediction.

Ryerson Multimedia Laboratory, Ryerson University, Toronto, ON

Visiting Research Assistant • May 2019- July 2019

I developed a model to generate 2D layout from indoor scene RGB images using Google ARcore library, with conventional mobile phone's camera which agreed in dimensions with real layout. It reduced the requirement of depth specific hardware and panoramic images in existing layout estimation methods. I was hosted by Dr Naimul Khan.

I built real estate image dataset for image to paragraph generation system which contains real estate images and their corresponding description annotations collected on Amazon Turk. Also worked towards building an artificial intelligent model for generating description paragraphs for real estate images. I was hosted by Prof Prem Kumar Natarajan.
